How You Can Help

The ARK relies on volunteers of all ages, with all skills and talents, from all facets of the Chicagoland Jewish community. Volunteer once, occasionally, weekly or monthly. To find out more, contact Rachel Friedman, Director of Volunteers and Outreach, at 773.681.8982 or rfriedman@arkchicago.org.

Medical/Mental Health

Physicians, dentists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and counselors are always in high demand. There is also a need for pharmacists, optometrists and physical therapists. Volunteer at our facility or yours, for as little as two hours per month or more.

Food Pantry

Our food pantry continuously needs to be restocked and food packages assembled. Packages are distributed to clients during specified hours each day. Or consider organizing a food drive for our pantry at your workplace, school, synagogue or community group. We'll help.

Holidays

Several times a year, The ARK brings holiday festivities to our clients. Whether it’s a special communal meal requiring servers, food package deliveries, or fulfilling a Chanukah Gift Wish, there are many ways to get involved.
